Help please,

If I have gross fee income of under £5000, as per the site information, is it right that I will get PII cover for £47.25 per annum.

I am looking to become a member soon as I do my project and Health & Safety and was gathering info to become member in practice.

And how long does it take for AAT to issue certificates once your study is over and you have applied to be a memeber in practise.

I think you apply for member in practice once you have got your full member status. I have just received my membership certificate (yesterdays post!) after sending off my application form at the end of July.

You are eligible to apply for the AAT block policy if your gross fee income is less than £5k pa, it's says on the members section to forward a chq for £47.25 along with the application form (which is the premium).

If your gross fee income is more than £5k then you are expected to arrange your own insurance

Have a look under the members section under members in practice for info or give the AAT a ring.

Helen
