I would say about 14/15K. I've seen loads of salary things saying how much you should get but it depends on where you live and stuff.

How much were you thinking?

Maybe once you've done AAT they will put it up a bit.

Bearing in mind that you are only 19, you are allot younger than the average Certified Technician Accountant. You must have worked hard. I would therefor ask for about £14k. You could always ask for a review when you have completed AAT in 6 months time.

yes I agree, sounds like you have worked hard and also sound commited to this job so they should recognise that.

I live in tamworth, have just turned 20 and have pushed myself and the people I work for to earn 16.5k, the higher you go the more they will try and agree on a level of pay with you, if you say 14 they may try to bring it down. If you say 15 or maybe little higher than they may bring it down to 14k.
They are also trying to see what you think you are worth and try to prepare to back up why you are worth investing in.

Good Luck !!

I am 22 and currently earning £18.5k a year, and still need to complete my AAT. Just ensure you don't sell yourself short.

Good luck with the review.

Well I am 18 yrs old currently studying Technician, passed all foundation and intermediates 1st time and am currently on 15k (in Manchester) This rises to £17.5k when I complete AAT Technician so if I was you I would ask for around about that amount considering you have almost finished and you have an extra 8 months experience than me! £14/£15k seems way too low, as suggested above, dont sell yourself short!
