FTC or Premier Training

I have completed Foundation & Intermediate on a taught course, I am looking to do Technician on a home study course and I don't know whether to go with FTC or Premier Training. Any advice on which company to use would be much appreciated.

    Premier....<BR><BR>Premier use Osbourne Books and FTC use FTC books so depends which books you used for taught lessons might be better sticking to the same.<BR><BR>Premier have 2 late night evenings to be able to contact tutors upto 8pm (which most students study after 5pm)<BR><BR>I have never been able to NOT get hold of my own tutor via phone and emails answered very quickly.<BR><BR>If you want to ask any questions regarding Premier I will try to answer, or give them a call, there wont pressure youto sign up.<BR><BR>Amanda

    Hi Amanda,<BR>I have been a bit disappointed with Premiers response time to assignments. They have received mine over 12 days ago and I still have no feed back. I do not want to complain as I do not want to upset my tutor. How long do you have to wait till you get your assignments back. Do you know how many students are assigned to one tutor. <BR>Thank you for your reply.

    I have replied to you under General.<BR><BR>In July and August the tutors have holidays as its a quiter period for them. So I suppose September is catch up periods.<BR><BR>Give your tutor a call.<BR><BR>Amanda

    I did the taught course with BPP but I don't want to study with them anymore. I think I may go with FTC as I haven't tried home study before and I would rather book 1 unit at a time rather than the whole level to see how I manage with home study, thanks for your replies.

    I have tried both and I am not overly impressed with either. I did Intermediate with Premier and the return rateof assignments was slow and reporting to AAT about skills tests and project was by snail post and constant nagging. The study material was good though.<BR><BR>I am now in my second year with FTC and the return rate of the assignments again is slow and when I have e-mailed with queries it has taken a while to get any joy. when I did my project I had to beg in the end to get a call from my tutor. Again the study material is good.<BR><BR>The choice is yours -best of luck with your studies
