I am thinking of studying the intermediate stage via distance learning but unsure who to use. I have checked out both the BBP and FTC sites - the cost for FTC was £345 but I couldn't see how much BBP charged, anybody know?

Has anybody studied intermediate via distance learning - how was it? I am a bit scared in case I don't learn anything and fail my exams!

Any comments welcome!

    Hi

I registered with the FTC last year the service is okay, but it is a job to keep yourself motivated and produce the work. YOu really have to put the effort in yourself and produce the work within their guidelines.

I'm with Premier Training and I feel the same - I have had all the useful books and there very nice if you are stuck. However it is very much down to you to keep on top of everything and committ enough time to practice questions and exercises ready for the exams. There are plenty of us about to help too if we can and for moral support, like this site and the msn group http://groups.msn.com/AATIntermediate.

Torix

I'm with BPP and am not very impressed!
I seem to have terrible trouble getting through to any tutors - today is a good example - they are ALL on voicemail, and no-one calls back.
I've been waiting 5 weeks for something which I was told would take a week to mark as well...
It's hard enough distance learning as it is, and this is not helping!
I have heard many people say that Premier Training are pretty good, I should imagine I will probably go with them for my Technician stage (if I can ever get this one signed off!!!)
I think Premier looks quite good cost-wise too...
