C.AN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ON THIS EXAM, AS I FAILED IT IN JUNE AND WAS DOING IT HOME STUDY AND ONE EVENING AT COLLEGE, I THOUGHT COLLEGE DIDNT PREPARE ME PROPERLY

    Have you got plenty of pratice materials?<BR><BR>Do as many Sims and exams as you can.<BR><BR>Work through your books and tasks.<BR><BR>Im only just starting to study for ecr in December. Just keep going, read everything in your books.<BR><BR>Amanda

    I did the intermediate course last year, but did not sit the exams, due to lack of time and problems attending college. <BR>I will be sitting the ECR at christmas and have found that having had recent experience in 'real' accounts, ie sole traders, partnerships etc (through my job) has helped me to understand the principles of ECR much more than college ever did! So my advice is to get some experience in a real accounts environment if possible!

    I did my ECR in June also and did pass. My college gave us 4-5 previous exams to practise but i did re do them again and again. You can never practise enough i think

    i would be interested in your revision day although i live in maidstone, this is for ecr intermediate.

    Well it depends on how far you are prepared to travel (or whether there are a lot of people in Maidstone who would like a revision day held ther).<BR><BR>In the past I have had ECR revision days in Croydon and Rotherhythe both reasonably accessible to Maidstone by road and probably also by train.<BR><BR>
