Hi people,

I'm currently studying intermediate level and want to sit 1 of the exams in Dec - which would you say is easiest, ECR or FRA?

I've had a lot going on recently - moving and new job - and am only going to have time to revise for 1 of them!

Which is my best option? I was thinking FRA now and ECR in June?

Thanks
PP22

    Exam help!! ECR or FRA?!

    Hi

I went straight into Intermediate and had the FRA exam in December last year. I found this easier as each week you build upon the knowledge. Where I found in ECR each chapter is a different subject, which is harder to revise in time for December.

Good Luck!
Exam help!! ECR or FRA?!

I would definately choose ECR as the easier option. FRA I sadly failed and am having to resit in December,,,,ECR I found a breeze in comparison

    Exam help!! ECR or FRA?!

defo do ECR then you have more weeks in the summer months to do FRA which is the harder on - ECR is basically maths but FRA is all about bookkeeping (a topic that you may never have done before - therefore harder)
penny x

The ECR exam is definately best as it is more about comman sense than remembering all you need to know about book-keeping! to revise for both would be difficult and may affect your chances of passing if you just take one at a time.
