Where & When
The choices for ACCA are as varied as they are for AAT. You can go to a local college for evenings / day release or you can go to BPP / FTC for block release or you can do home study...

There are 3 levels, you're exempt from Part 1 because of doing AAT. So two levels, time scale one year per level usual minimum.
0 -
Where & When
Hi

I am studying ACCA as well as completing DFS in Dec (retake). Have a chat with your local college - see if they offer the course or consider distance learning. Personally I am doing distance learning. I have estimated it will take me approx 3 yrs to complete ( doing part 2 over 2yrs and part 3 in 1).

It all depends on how you feel and how much time you can devote to studying etc.

Hope this helps
Michelle0 -

Message for Krispi >>>> am studying ACCA as well as completing DFS in Dec (retake). >>

do you know if they let you go onto CIMA with a retake also, and is this ' common' or do you think that is because it's distant learning and i assume that you don't get the full exemption of foundation stage then??

Treaclex0 -
Where & When
Hi Treaclex

Not sure about CIMA, but when I spoke to Lilley at ACCA I was told there was nothing to stop me from starting my study, enrolling as a student and claiming the excemptions I already have after passing everything else at tech level. Once I have passed DFS I then forward my SOA to ACCA who will then grant me full excemption from part 1 and I can take the exams for part 2.

Yuu may be best to enquire at CIMA as to what you can and can't do.

Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.

Michelle0
