Having an organised week so .... I've just enrolled with Premier Training to do Intermediate this year, I spoke to a tutor there about a month back who seemed to think that I could aim for doing Unit 5 and the Exam in Dec and Unit 6 after with that exam in June, however I know some people are revising already for their exams in Dec. With me just enrolling, do you think it's a bit to late for me to aim for the Exam in December ?

Just found out today as well that the cut off mark for joining the AAT as a student member so I could do my exams in Dec was Sept 30 so the application went off 1st class today!

Cheers

Go all of you!!!! After spending 2 months deciding which route to take (taught or distance learning) I thought I was too late to study for the Dec exams and have decided to start distance learning in Jan and just take 1 exam - make it easy on myself! Has anybody else done it like this?

After finding out that other people have started this week, I shouldn't think it was too late for you to study for the exams in Dec ? That option might still be open for you
Hi All

I am currently studying Intermediate at college (started 3 weeks ago). The first exam is also in December followed by June06. It appears to be alot faster than Foundation, as there is alot to fit in before the exam.

We are currently doing extended TB and Trading Profit and Loss accounts/Balance sheet, including Prepayments/Accruals etc It is very enjoyable, alot more interesting than the dreaded Health and Safety, lol ;-)

Good luck to you all.

Sinders

I started Intermediate in March and by May I was ready for the FRA exam I even considered doing ECR as well but decided that was too much. I am with Premier Training and with all distance learning, you only get out of it what you put in. Put in the work and you will be fine!

Amanda

Me too. I have the home study books for Unit 5 but haven't even looked at them yet but still hope to do the exam in Dec. Got another week till the exam entry has to be in, but I think I'll go with it.

    Hi

I agree you get out what you put in - if you get your head down you should be fine for ECR in December. I've just crammed learning PRAR pretty much into a week doing all the actvities in the book and now I am cramming in the rest of the ECR osbourne tutorial text book before doing some practice exam papers.
My theory is if I just keep plugging away a little bit everyday it might stick somewhere in my brain and I'll have enough time to practice for the exams.
Putting your head down to the units may be easy for some but with everyday life aswell such as working and childcare it's hard finding the time.
