MAS Project - 'Jobs in' help?!

Help needed if poss x<BR><BR>I have been struggling to think of a topic for my MAS project. I work in an accounting practice and my best idea for the project so far is to reconstruct the 'jobs in' system. Has anyone done this previously? Can any one help me with ideas? <BR><BR>Thanks very much people! x x<BR><BR>Silver x

    Snap!<BR><BR>I was thinking of doing that. thinking of setting up a database that will allow us to track jobs so that line managers can see work progress more clearly.<BR><BR>It wont really cost the firm anything - cost benefit could be ... less staff time?? work planned more efficiently...happier clients - dont actually know if theres a monetary benefit but Im sure I can come up with one!!<BR><BR>Well, thats my ideas! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"><BR>

    Can I just point out Omega - you don't have to make it have a monetry impact on your organisation. What you've described sounds really good, and you have lots of ideas to expand on.

    Have you completed your project 'jack russell'? How did you find it? What was the basis for you theme? Did you manage to fulfill the 3000 - 4000 word bracket easy enough? (sorry about all the Qs!)<BR><BR>I think I am going to do some brain storming tonight and see what solutions I come up woth. Just spoke to my manager and he said he is willing to help me with my ideas etc so I think I'm going to be ok after all!! <BR><BR>

    My college tutor would ideally like to have the project in by Christmas so that we dont have too much on in the second term.<BR><BR>I was also gonna do some work on it this weekend.<BR><BR>I'll let ya know if I have any super ideas!! Keep us updated on how its goin.<BR><BR>Omega
