Hello all,

I have recently passed my AAT and applied for full membership (paying £35). I have been called today by the AAT and have been asked to a further £60 student membership fee. Is this correct? I am no longer studying so why do I need to pay for my registration?

It may be right but it just seems weird to me.

cuold someone please confirm that this is right.

Regards

asda2101

I believe this is correct. The £35 is to upgrade from student to member status - provided you have renewed your student registration if due.

ie - My renewal date is in June so I renewed my student reg at that date. I finished AAT in July so sent off my £35. If you are not a registered student you are liable for the full membership fee (£93). So my first payment for member status (the £93) is payable next July.

So I presume that your student registration expires very soon and as you have paid the £35 you only have to pay the student fee to top it up, to match the membership fee.

I think that makes sense - please correct me if I'm wrong!

Helen
