I've got to complete this for Technician, having already done the initial H&S for Foundation.<BR> <BR>I'm a bit stuck on it as I have no textbook or anything to help me, can anyone help me along? I'm particulary stuck on 'Give examples of 2 hazards you have the authority to deal with' and 'Give examples of 2 you do not have the authority to deal with'.<BR><BR>My e-mail is benjones70@lineone.net if anyone can help.<BR><BR>Thanks.

Hi<BR><BR>Health and Safety doesn't have to be difficult, things that are in your power to alter can be something as simple as ensuring you have a UV filter fitted to you computer monitor and your work startion and chair are at the right hight, or ensuring there are no leads or wires on the floor you can trip up on, or make sure you always shut filing cabinet draws, ect.<BR><BR>The Health and Safety matters that are out of you control to alter could be something like a faulty electrical plug socket that needs fixing (you would need to get an electrition in) or a toilet that keeps blocking (you would need to get a plumber in). Both of these Health & Safety examples would need reporting to the appropriate person within your company to be put right by an outside contractor.<BR><BR>These are examples I used in my NVQ Level 3 Administration. Hope they help give you insperation.0 -
