NEW STARTER NEED HELP DESPERATE!

    Hi, don't panic

I did foundation last year and am now doing intermediate although I'm studying at a college but I know how confusing some of the things can be!

- the skills test is another name for simulation - you do the practice simulation as they are the same layout and prepare you for what to expect in the real simulation (skills test) - basically another word for exam.

The portfolio is a folder of evidence that you collect and present at the end of the year - it needs to include the things that are in your foundation student record for each unit - once you have put them in your folder you write in your record what the piece of evidence is and what page number in the folder it is - OR if it is covered by one of the skills test you just put 'simulation'. It is best to keep your portfolio updated throughout the year - lots of us waited till the end and were rushing to collect all the evidence and get it signed off. Once your portfolio is complete your tutor checks it over and that all the evidence is there and 'signs it off' which means it is complete and the AAT are informed that you have done it.

Hope this helps - if you have any more questions feel free to email me at blondewhositsonmountains@yahoo.co.uk

Sara

    Re:NEW STARTER NEED HELP DESPERATE!

Hi if you like I need someone to chat to aswel as I am new and learning from home. I am learning through a group called A+ training. They are never very helpful and I have a workshop every 2 months! The most they do is put projects to me out in the post! Some support from someone in a similar situation would be good! You can add me to msn if you are on there lydiawalker1405@hotmail.com

Look forward to hearing from you
