Can someone help with the basis periods?<BR><BR>Is there an easy way of learning them!!<BR><BR>I think I know the correct way and the next question/answer is different!!<BR><BR>Get some confused!!<BR><BR>Any help would be appreciated.<BR><BR>Ta Lisajane

    There is no substitute for rote learning in this case. There is no way of understanding it - it's just the rule that Inland Revenue have. However once you've learned it , at least there's no exceptions.<BR><BR>Do lots of question practice (BPP books are excellent in having lots of practice questions to get it right).<BR><BR>Annette
