I have two questions on an assignment ive been given, and i havent a clue, the ftc book and my notes dont seem to have the answers could anyone help?<BR><BR>Q1identify cost centres for the following:<BR><BR>production organisation<BR>service organisation<BR>service department<BR><BR>Q2<BR>Sugest one cost unit and two cost centres for a college of further education.

    Q1identify cost centres for the following:<BR><BR>production organisation - in a production org. , any department of the company, like production, finance , marketing <BR><BR>service organisation -- cost centre - restaurant in a hotel or health club in the hotel eg. hotel in the restaurant <BR><BR>the cost unit will be no. of meals and for the rooms, the cost unit will be guest nights. <BR><BR>service department - may be jobs handled are treated are cost centres - not too sure<BR><BR>Q2<BR>Sugest one cost unit and two cost centres for a college of further education. <BR><BR>cost centres - teaching departments or administrative office or library / resource centre<BR>cost unit - student hour<BR>hope this helps
