Can anyone explain how to deal with different pensions in personal tax? - I am getting confused!

    I think<BR><BR>Occupational pensions - employee cont are tax deductable ie deduct from income to arrive at taxable income. In PAYE pension cont are deducted before tax is deducted. <BR><BR>personal pensions - net contributions made (22% tax). Gross amount of contribtutions extend basic rate tax band.
