fellow AAT'ers and technicians which level do you think is the hardest ??

eg i found foundation quite difficult because not only was i doing it fast track but i had to do health and safety computers etc which i found difficult and a waste of time i would have rather done some kind of math or economics !!.

where as im finding the intermediate quite good as its relevant to today and i can apply it aswell !! so it isnt that bad

technician well hopefully next year.

so i just wondering what level you found most difficult and why

thanks.

Technician, purely because I was doing more exams together and the units are bigger than they are at Intermediate.

Probably the way it should be!0 -

would you say that technician is more interesting than intermediate ??

im studying A levels aswell i dont know if i will be able to complete technician in one go as the A levels are quite demanding !! but i find intermediate intersting so i pick it up really quickly.

do they use alot of intermediate stuff at tehnician level would u say ?0 -

It all depends on the units that you choose for tech level - costing is building on intermediate. Tax is totally new, but a certain amount of overlap between business and personal tax. I didnt do it, but people on this forum say cash and credit management is a cinch. Lots of learning for DFS and i know nothing about the audit paper. I think a lot depends on what you are interested in - personally it makes it easier to learn, also if you are practising it for real.0 -

I am finding the Technician stage the most difficult as there is so much to fit in in such a short space of time with having to work on the project as well as the exams. However, I am enjoying the actual material in technician more as it seems more interesting. Although I have to be honest, none of what I'm doing relates to my full time job!!!0 -
There is the guide that Foundation level is GCSE standard, Intermediate is 'A'-level standard and that Technician is degree standard. (This is incorporated by each level being registared as NVQ 2, 3 and 4).
With this is mind I've found each level has far more material and more increasingly difficult at each level as it should.
The one positive aspect is that in Technician you have far more module choices which help gear the qualification toward what you are interested in and/or find easier.0
