Settlement discount on credit notes?

When adjusting the VAT for a settlement discount on an invoice, should the same principle be aplied to a credit note in response to said invoice?<BR><BR>Please help, trying to complete a simulation in workbook.

    Hi, in response to your query on discount on credit notes. You are absolutely right the same principle applies as with the invoice, the only difference being minus figures instead of positive.<BR><BR>Hope this helps :-)
