Hi,<BR><BR>I am struggling with the production budget. I can not seem to get the format of the budget in my head. Does anyone have a template production budget with an explanation against each step?<BR><BR>Many thanks<BR>

    Production Budget

    I just do<BR><BR>budgeted sales xxxxxxxxx<BR>less opening stock (xxxxxx)<BR>add closing stock xxxxxxxxx<BR><BR>Production required xxxxxxxx<BR><BR>You need to deduct opening stock because you already have it ready to sell, but you must add on what you want in stock as a buffer for the next period.<BR><BR>After you have the production amount required you can then work out your materials and wages budgets.<BR><BR>Don't forget to calculate wastage on production required if there is any.
