is anyone else having trouble revising for both these modules at the same time? i think it is impossible!!<BR><BR>Penny

    PCR+PEV=HELL

    These were the worst two for me - but I got on a revision course that sandy hood ran and he was brilliant at explaining all the key points

    Oh yes! PCR I dont find so bad, but PEV is a nightmare - its just all formulas. I dont see myself being able to remember it all.<BR><BR>

    HI.
    PEV is simply Variances and Ratios.
    PCR is Budgets only. Fixed and Flexi.
    These two subjects should be easiest. I used to find them hard but have seen the logic.
    With PEV try understanding what the variances mean without applying the formulae first. Once you have a basic idea what they mean and how to explain them then you can look them up using formulaes and apply your knowledge on the questions.
    Similar with ratios.
    Email if still having difficulties and i can give you my number and i can help you.
    This would help me recap aswell.
    On the phone i can teach you variances, Ratios, Fixed Budgets, and Flexi budgets one day each.

    I want to cry. I have been of work and college for 6 weeks as I had to have a very unexpected operation and now I have so much work to catch up on. I feel like i'm going mad. I was think about doing them next June instead but I want to see if I can pass them now and if I pass them this December then great and if not I have next June.

    How many hours revision are you all doing?

    You have already paid and believe me you owe it a try.
    Im studying by myself but imagine i at Technician Level now.
    You can do it mate put your act together.
    Study each subject for an hour then do some questions for another hour. break off and continue with another subject after coffee.
    Please sacrifice a little of TV and the rest of time consuming things for now and you will reap your reward.

    Yeah tell me about i failed in June and resitting on Dec, the best way i am finding is to understand the question first then put the formula to it, the wording can be a put off, but fingers crossed i shall pass this time, good luck

    i agree with paddy. please try not to revise @the same time,try to give each a day,if u combine them within hours they confuse alot. thats how i did them

    PCR - Lets all hope that the paper in December 2005 is as good as the paper in June 2005, I managed to do that past paper in less than an hour, so fingers crossed, December 2004 was a different story though.......any one got any clues whats going to be in the paper this time??????
