Tax relief on charitable donations

I've just been asked whether as a profit making company we can claim tax relief on a charitable donation.<BR><BR>Please can anybody help?

    i think it depends on whether it's a ocal charity or a national charity. If it's a local one then the answer is yes, if it's a local one then i think the answer is no....<BR><BR>Someone else may want to correct me if i am incorrect?<BR><BR>Regards
