If any one is interested I have the unit 7 BPP assessment kit for sale.

    Might sound a bit thick but whats the assessment kit all about then?

    I'm working on Osborne Books for foundation - exam Dec. To start intermediate Jan, my tutor has told me to get Osborne Unit 5 and FTC Unit 6 and not to bother with Unit 7 !?!?

    No idea even what's it's about for him to dismiss it, but is your book a tutorial and workbook like the Orbone stuff or something else?

    The assessment kits are bascially past papers and pas sims tests. I find the normal text books do not give you enough practise work and being a distance learning student, getting responses from tutors a bit of a nightmare.

    I found they do help, finished intermediate now and just about to start Technican.

    I'm doing distance learning too trying to cram Foundation & Intermediate into 1 year1 How did you find the intermediate level? Is it something you work in at the moment? I'm not working and am struggling big time with the portfolio for units 21 - 23 - no idea what to put or what evidence I can supply!

    I'd like to get the kits from you please - how do we go about this??

    Hi Scoobydoo

    I found intermediate ok, but I find it hard to motivate myself, especially when you have had 4 months doing nothing. I managed to finish intermediate within 8 months.

    I work within a large organisation that covers quite a bit of the syllabus, so I am quite fortunate that all the exams Ive taken and passed without too many problesm.

    Unit 21 - 23, its a bit tricky if you dont work. Things like VDU, Health and safety and data protection legislation is available on the internet. I would ask your tutor to perhaps give you some sample documents or forms to complete. Most of it is common sense.

    Wow you sound really lucky then, I've got to try and cram my Intermediate into 6 months and am looking for a job which I'm struggling with but I hope I can join an accounts firm or similar where I can put it into practise it's not easy when you have little experience though.
