sage year end

I hope someone can help me here.

My husband has just started a new business and I am doing his books using Sage Line 50. I am using sage at work but as I only been in this employment for 6 months didn't have a chance to do the Year End. So feel a bit scared.

Do I have to run the year end on the very last day i.e. 30 November or sage allows you to post any information related to your new financial year and run the year end when you're sure that all data for the previous year is input.

Please help me it will be really appreciated.

    Hi

    You can continue to post after the year end. You will however get a message saying you are not in the current year do you want to continue. It can be anoying as it comes up on every transaction, however it can be done until such time as your ready to run the year end.
