I'm doing my FRA exam in a few weeks, and panicking already ! (Well I've been panicking for a week so far!)

So I'm wondering how often everyone is studying? I've now got one afternoon off a week and use that for studying, plus will be doing a lot of study tmw, are the rest of you making up your own notes and just revising that way or are you redoing exercises and almost 're-working' your way through the books again ?

Just thought I'd ask to see if I could get any extra study tips from ppl in the same situation as me :)

    Hi

I've made my own notes from the books (jotter cards). I'm going to take next week off and rework sections of the book that I am unsure about plus re-do the exam papers again. So pretty much what your thinking. I think its been said before you are unlikely to learn questions until the third of fourth time of doing them so repractising can be good.

I've been struggling the last few days though as I am so tired like you Beka when I eventually do get home, but maybe the week off will help (even though it uses all my holiday up).

    Good luck anyway,

my strategy is to do a little bit every week up to the exams, im not a fan of last minute revision i would rather do a little alot.

but this week i got ECR to click which was nice so i guess i have a week or two to spare and can run through past papers and mocks no problem and today im going to be doing FRA and im hoping that it will bee ok to.

but one thing i would advise against is leaving it all to the last minute.

in regards to time frames i dont think there is a perfect way to do it some students have been studying for a year and they are probably pretty confident and are probably having a good time at the moment because they know it all.

so i think as long as you know it all and you feel happy you know it all you should be ok :)

I just started revising this week and am doing the 2 past papers in the assessment kit. Then I am going to work my way through the practice activities and then go through practice activities/past papers/exercises and take a note of any theory I think I might need to remember. I'll also probably make notes on some of the account layouts and I'll have a look at the pass cards too.
