Sorry for the delay in replying - I have only just noticed your reply to my thread re my answers to DFS. I am in the process of compiling some questions/answers relating to DFS in particular Group Accounts, Ltd Co. Accounts and Cash Flow Statements. I had a really good response last time I did these and will be posting them on the MSN Groups site within the next week or so.
In answer to your question, Distribution Costs would normally comprise carriage outwards i.e. costs involved in distributing goods to customers. Administrative expenses normally relate to admin. wages, rent, rates, heat, light, sundry items, postage, stationery, computer costs etc. etc. I know exactly the type of query you have and I will be posting a typical question/answer which does include distribution and admin costs so you can use this as a revision aid.
