I have posted this to the general forum in the hope of some help there too.

I have been somewhat unwillingly promoted due to my boss leaving and me taking on his workload.For the last month my whole role has changed; I have helped to recruit and am now training my replacement as well as doing training and working in my former boss's role.

Technically I can count most of this as CPD but how do I report this in the log? There are some blocks of training which I can deal with but it's difficult to divide up my workload into identfiable blocks.

Or can I count this as CPD as it isn't what I had planned to concentrate on at all and though some is relevant (e.g. greater Excel/Sage/forecasting knowledge) it was unexpected professional development.


Any ideas??
