I answered it like this.

And the answer on the suggested answer said

If i do it the way i did do i get penalized ?

When Calculating the trend they use Quarter Number in the formula.
Why is this I did it with out the Quarter number

Hi Stefsai,
I have had a look at the relevant questions and answers. PCR is not a paper which I am well-versed in - I'm more DFS! Anyway, I've looked at your queries and am going to answer them as best I can.
Firstly with 1.2 you would not get penalized for the way you lay your answer out. As long as you follow a logical format and you either arrive at the correct figure or (better still) show your workings (on a separate page) of how you have arrived at your figures you won't get penalized. For 1.2 you would have gained full marks.
Task 1.4 uses quarter figures on the basis that there are four quarters in a full year and also because of seasonal variations there are, of course, four seasons in one year.
