Space available on Mock Papers

System

Is it just me? I'm working my way through as many Mocks as possible, and I find very often there isn't enough space on given for your answers. I'm not talking about the written answers. For example, I'm doing the Mock at the moment for Edward Dyer/Simple Station, and you have to produce P&L and Balance Sheets, but the space they've provided is nowhere near enough for the amount of lines I need to include, which ends up making my work really messy, are we allowed extra paper in the actualy exam?
