FRS 21 & 22

I've been told that we will need to know these 2 new FRSs, but can anybody help me with understanding them, i just can't get my head around acountancy jargon, i need them to be in plain english.

I would appreciate it if anyone can help.

    FRS22 is Earnings per share. Its not purely new as it was FRS14 (i think)
    Its main use is to calculate how much each share s return is.
    Operating Profit/Number of shares.

    Number of shares not share capital or share valu.

    The other on FRS21 was ssap17 which describes what you can include in the final accounts after the balance sheet DATE.

    I dont have new texts which has material on them so i just know them from old starndard but just taking note of the fact that they have changed to FRS21 and FRS22.
