Hi all

To add to my other post I think the ECR exam was fair, we don't want them thinking it was easy as such. It just prooves that hard work and plenty of past paper practice gives you a good basis to tackle the exam. Hoping I've passed that is. The main worry I had afterwards is if I'd put the right AAT memb. no. down as you don't put your name which is a bit odd (think I was being post exam paranoid).

I wasn't going to come on here afterwards as last time I convinced myself I had failed FRA as I got a couple of things wrong so don't worry too much anyone if your answers are slightly different.

On to technician now!!! Maybe a bit of time off first.

The first question was also different, rather than telling you the costing method, you had to work it out. A slightly different twist, but it would not have shocked anyone. I thought the rest of the paper was pretty similar to all the past papers, I mean contribution calculations, overhead allocation, investment appraisals and the memo, none of that should have shocked anyone. It was fair as they tested the syllabus again, as they had in previous years.
