Suggetion for DFS

DFS tommorow huh !
Since section 1 has about 6 tasks and section 2 has 2,
i think its better to do 4 tasks in section 1 then move to section 2 and do both.
Then you can come back ,time permmiting, to the other 2 in section 1. Im saying so because if time is your problem (like me) then if you will be safe that way since if its time up before you do the last two in section 1 then you still have a chance of being competent than just doing all of task 1 and running out of time.

The AAT advises to do all the task. Please note.

What do you think ?

That could possibly work - but it is quite dangerous. I wouldn't advise on missing any tasks out - what if you can't answer say task 2.2?? The AAT put a lot in DFS because it's a final level paper for a profession that is demanding. You will need to be okay with time pressure - don't get bogged down in the numbers and don't find the discrepancy if your balance sheet doesn't balance - you won't find it and you haven't got time to find it.

Try to answer all the tasks in the time allocated - they have designed the papers so you have the opportunity to answer all the tasks in the three hours. Use the 15 minutes reading time to plan your answer on the question paper and STICK TO TIME ALLOCATION. At the end of the time for section A - MOVE ON to section B - as the post above says you have to gain competence in BOTH sections. Overruning on time in section A is potentially lethal.

    Good luck
