Hi referring to the exams in the osburne book i carnt understand the following-
exam 5 Q 2.1a-vi) = to calculate the total variable cost for light, heat and power you subtract the fixed cost divide by production and multuply by sales .
exam 8 Q 2.1c = to calculate the total variable cost for genral expences you simply subtract the fixed cost.
WHY are the calculations diffrent. Should you not apply the same formula as it is the same question but with diffrent figures. All i can think of is that exam 8 has c/s. can someone please advice me.THANKS

NO sales was not production0
