Career Advice

Hi was wondering if any other AAT members could give their thoughts as to what you think would be best for my next career move:

Im 27. Had a couple of years experience ledger work/payroll when I left school, got MAAT, then went into supporting accounting software for the next 6 years odd and found wasnt really much opportunity to progress. Have gone to uni to do BA accounting and finance on second year.

I think im going to do CIMA when I leave, I dont like the sound of practice. But im really not sure, what would you do if you were me? (obviously recent practical experience is somewhat lacking even though the software work was quite technical)
