Stock Control Systems

Does anyone have any suggestions for a stock control system with bar coding facility? I work for a printing manufacturing company and require a new system that is able to work with bar coding, if anyone works within printing or knows of such system I would be grateful if you could let me know:

    Hi, I do believe there is a software for bar coding but depending on what the company wants to spend as it is more than likely expensive - if the stock is bar coded when coming in you must have something to bar code this in the first instance!

    If not you could make up an excell sheet (long and winded system) I know but worked many stock systems on computers etc. still find excell one of the best or the goods old manual stock cards and bins.
