Devolved Assessment for Unit 1 (help)!

Recently enrolled on distance learning course and have been told that as I have missed the assessment for unit 1, I will be required to take it fairly soon, have been told this is a devolved assessment whihc is sometimes called a simulation or skills test.
Can anyone tell me what this will involve??

I did mine before christmas, its is quite simple test really, just to show you have understood what you have done so far.

there was also a few questions at the end.

I did mine just before xmas... one thing you need to be sure on is working out VAT on net and gross prices, and also taking into account discounts, and the vat then, it should be covered in your books. I found that was the most challenging thing in the skills test. I also had to draft out an aged debtors sheet so make sure your ok on that.

Erm.... also quite a few questions on making cheque, credit card payments more secure, and you will need to know how to fill out paying in slips for cash and cheques.

Apologies for not having replied to you sooner, but I was very bogged down with year end at work.
I'm currently on a distance learning course with Amersham & Wycombe but a little apprehensive with what to expect on the skills test. But now that you have very kindly explained, at least I know what to expect.
