I am confused - I have had different people tell me different things about CPD - I have been told by one person that as I have completed the entire AAT course I do not need to do CPD - yet another person at the AAT tells me I need to do a certain number of hours minimum each year to keep my right to be member. Can someone please let me know whether I'm supposed to be doing CPD or not?!
Thanks
Laura

Hi Laura.
All the information you need is under the CPD section.

Re:Help...
If you are a member in practice or a fellow member elected since 1998, you need to do at least 60 hours of relevant CPD over 2 years, with at least 20 hours in any single year.
The AAT strongly recommends that all members should do CPD, as it helps maintain skills and achieve career targets. However, it is currently only mandatory for the types of members I refer to in my first paragraph above. This is due to change with a mandatory CPD scheme for all full members, which is the subject of a comprehensive review that was sent to members on 26 January.0
