Which book to buy.....

Can anyone out there recommend a good book for revision questions relating to Unit 5 Financial Records and Accounts.
I don't seem to be able to tie it all together very well and thought some extra practice questions might help. We are currently working from the Osborne Book range.
I have looked at the BPP publications but not sure whether the revision text or the interactive text would be best. Has anyone used them ?
Has anyone tried the Revision CD's ? I have a long drive to work in the morning and wondered if they are worth a try or whether they would make me a hazard on the road when I fell asleep listening to them? :?
Any comments gratefully received.

Hi i studied CAT last year and found the BPP disk to be really good. we are actually covering all of what we learned last year but in a bit more detail this year and the disk were very good they also give you exam practices except its computer based. My stepdad also gave me a book called Rob Jones Business Accounting and along with the osbourne books i'm finding i get a slightly different explaination of the same thing. 8)

Thanks very much, I will have to have a look for that one. I'm sure it will all make sense in the end, but I think I just need another angle on it so it all falls into place sooner rather than later!!
Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Hi. Could either of you tell me where I can get one of these disks. I've had a look on the internet and only came up with revision books. I am doing the intermediate course distance learning and am finding it really hard on my own. I'm doing it with FTC and sometimes the books aren't all that clear. A CD sounds a good idea. I could download it on my computer at work and listen to it while I'm working on something really boring. Something might sink in! I'll also look out for the book, it may make things clearer. Thanks.

This will take you to the BPP web page detailing the Intermediate level audio cd's. During the weekend I have been given some of the BPP revision companions which look like they are full of extra questions and look quite good. Unfortunately it is the technician level book I have been given, so still a bit advanced for me at the moment, but I might have to invest in the intermediate one!!!
