Calling FTC Studiers - FTC Tutor?

I received my bundle of goodies this morning, and whilst I have been given the name of "my tutor" there aren't any direct contact details for him (such as an email address, which would be my prefered method of contact). Should there be? Who to/where should I direct the inevitable questions?

    Hi Sarah,

    It was the same with me when I started distance learning with FTC Leeds - only they didnt include my tutors name either!

    Get in touch with the Distance Learning course co-ordinator (the adminstration side which should be detailed in your pack). I have a contact at Leeds if you are studying through them.

    I e:mailed and they are really good at giving guidence.

    The tutor is brilliant and I now have his direct number and e:mail which makes it much easier :lol:

    I also did distant learning through FTC at Leeds, and i must admit my tutor is excellent, she is extremely helpful and is available either by telephone or email. i am hoping she might be the same tutor if i decide to go on to intermiedate level!!! :D

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. I dropped them an email and my tutor emailed me back with his personal address and phone number. However, he did say that they usually just expect people to use the general email/phone number, which to be defeats the purpose of assigning a liason tutor to you!

    My tutor with them is a guy called Neil. He's very friendly and knowledgeable. Were you not given a name of your tutor? I suppose that by having a general address queries are answered even if your usual tutor is away or something.

    My work program has got my tutors name on it.

    I've got to study bank rec's tonight, what joy!

    I was given his name - but not the contact details. I've got them now though so it's not a problem :) Incidently, I've also got Neil (I'm assuming it's the same Neil). Have fun tonight :wink:

    Oh I will! I won't be studying it all night (even I am not that geeky), I'm sure I will succumb to the pub at some point! :D
