:? Does anyone out do balance sheets rec's if so could you send me some examples .

    Hiya!

    I perform balance sheet recs at work quite a bit, but I can't really send you any examples as think my company would go a bit mad if they knew I was sending their figures to people!

    Basically, I use Excel and have spreadsheets which I use each month. I look at the period end balance and update this on the spreadsheet and then download all the transactions for the month and analyse what they are and if they are in the correct place - I may have to post a journal to move items to another account. I ensure that the downloaded transactions add up to the period end balance.
