Talk I have to do now after my project to finish level 10 - Help!

Help

I have now finished my project but i have now been told that i have to either talk about it or do a power point about it and then answer questions. What is this about? What do i have to do it about i dont understand do i just have to read my project out to them or is it about some thing else?

PLease help me with this i have no idea what to do

    Hi Littlemisspurple

    You're lucky you've finished your project, I still have to write mine up and to be honest, am lacking the motivation to complete it!

    You didn't mention what college you attend however my tutor has explained to us that the "talk" to which you are referring is simply an interview-type session.

    I'm assuming you've handed in your project and your tutor would have read it? Your tutor will test you to see whether the project you have submitted is your own work and that you understand what you've submitted and possibly ask you how you went about retrieving the information.

    I wouldn't worry too much about this because you've already done 90% of the work - the project.

    As far as the powerpoint presentation goes, apparently this is a misunderstanding AAT have given to colleges (so my tutor has told me). Yes, you do need to "present" your project however you simply reiterate what you have based your project on and your findings.

    I hope this helps but I would suggest you get further clarification from your college as they are the best people to help! They can tell you then exactly what it is you need to do.

    Thanks for that i will get back to college and se what they say. I wouldn't worry about getting your project done it has only taken me 2 years to write mine i really could not be bothered to do it. I am sure you will get yours done quicker than that!

    Oh I hope so! Luckily our college has given us deadlines (by end of March) to do ours so there is some incentive to get it done but like you, I can't be bothered!
