hi all, im just looking for a study buddy, i find it helps we could possibly exchange e-mails & help eachother out etc on FRA & ECR.

    i am happy that i found some people like me, i am doing unit 5 at the moment and i have finished unit 7 (distance learning) and some times i really need some help. :roll:........wishing to hear from you :thumbup:

    Hi all
    It sounds a very good idea to have a study buddy. Evenif you've passed the units, this way, you can keep your knowledge and skills fresh.
    I just passed Units 5&6 and would be happy to help anyone. Am studying Units 15 & 31 at the moment and if anyone is doing these units, I would be happy to partner with them. I can be contacted at forwardadd@aol.com or through the forum's private messaging.

    thank you very much for the quick response Ras and ekky you really gave me a good motivation :P.

    If anyone could help me please i am stuck on disposal of the fixed assets and the part exchange how to record them, it looks very complicated to me . thanks

    hello, just to help a bit with disposals if you remember 3 steps it will help you get the hang of it,

    1. remove the purchase cost
    dr disposals
    cr fixed asset

    2. remove the accumulated depreciation
    dr provision for depreciation
    cr disposals

    3. show proceeds of the disposal
    dr bank/cash/debtors
    cr disposals

    if you have a dr balance it is a profit on disposal


    if you have a cr balance it is a loss on disposal
