Hi,

I've just started units 22 & 23 and I need someideas what evidence to use.

Can someonepoint me in the right direction pleeeaaassseeee xx

    Hi Ruth

    I have just submitted my unit 23, i put in copies of any certificates that i have got, a copy of any feedback from any previous study unit, and also i used the Equal Opportunites website as well as the government website re the data protection act etc. if in doubt 'ask jeeves' as i find him very useful to get to the right web site to gain information, and as long as you state where you get your information from, you will not get into trouble. hope this helps

    Ive just completed Unit Twenty- Three and its 75 pages long!!

    Do you think thats excessive, bare in mind that does include all my evidence, and data protection acts etc which are quite a few pages long!!

    PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE can someone give me some ideas for unit 22 & 23. :(

    I have got to hand in everything for these units on 6th March and I'm really struggling to get evidence together :cry:

    I dont think nobody can really help you with these units, although its very time consuming and needs a lot of work doing its really just using common sense.

    Follow the performance criteria statements for each bit, read it again and again and think to yourself how can you show what that says in your own work.

    Or if your finding it hard getting evidence together maybe ask a work colleage to sign a statement saying you do certain things but just have no evidence.
    And also if you have never had to do or perform any of the things it says about just say what you would do if you were put into that situation.

    Blimey Sam, 75 pages! Mine was about 20 not counting evidence - and there wasn't a huge amount of that. So, yes, I think it's just a little excessive :)

    As I'm self-employed it was quite hard to get good evidence for a lot of things. I got a friendly former client to write a nice letter that covered a lot of bases. There was also a lot of 'this is what I would do if...' statements and references to the policies and practises of larger organisations - the internet comes in very handy for finding information about this.

    I basically, just wrote down the performance criteria from the student record card and filled in the gaps. My tutor seemed more impressed by my use of bullet points than anything - I guess that's accountants for you :?

    Thanx 4 the tips Sam,

    I didn't realise that I could just say what I would do in a situation. I would have had more time to spend on these units but I have been in hospital and now it all seems a bit daunting!

    Anyway, thank u 4 ur help and advise.

    CJC i think it was examples of your work i had a look at before doing unit 23 which was very helpful...your self employed arent you something to do with websites??

    I think its just the way i have set mine out, i have each performance critera as a heading on a new page. Simply to make it easier to reference and make contents for.If you squashed it all down to fill pages it wouldnt be half as much....and as i said my evidence bits on data protection etc are quite a few pages.

    I also used lots of websites on data protection, copyright, equal opportunites etc, just do a search in google itll bring up loads!!

    Hi Sam,

    I am with you on this one, i have just had notification that my Unit 23 has been passed as competent and i sent in an A4 ring binder with 60 pages but that does include all the evidence and attachments. I did struggle to do this to start with but when i re read the questions it made more sense. I did do a bit of work on presentation, ie listing the contents, and attachments etc etc. My boss checked over my work and needed to sign to to say that it was my own work, she said that i needn't have put so much, but i was more worried that there wouldn't be enough evidence. so i sent it anyway. I think if you make an effort in presentation of your work that goes along way too.

    Yeah definatly!! I have set mine out easy to read, and made it look nice and professional, but neat and tidy too!

    I know it adds to the amount of pages but i cant see you get less a mark for being more detailed and stuff!! :)
