Old standards

I only have 2 simulation units to complete of the old standards, which have to be done before June 06 and BPP distance learning has had one of my mocks for over 2 mths to mark, before they will send me an actual simulation! Is anyone else having trouble with them? Is there somebody i can complain to? If i don't complete by June 06 because of their delays i will not be a very happy woman!!

    Hi there

    Have you chased them up? What did they say? 2 months is far too long, even for a real simulation.

    There is a thread further back on the forums, and some one from BPP placed a post, in which she she wrote

    I am going to complain. I have chased them on numerous occasions and all i get is "it is in the queue for marking".

    I sometimes find Premier Training slow to mark things. I would have had my intermediate certificate by now but I had to wait for 2 months for them to mark my ECR skills test :evil: . However they did write me a letter saying I was all done to give to my employer (until my certificate arrives) so that was really helpful 8) .

    I try to be patient but it is hard. I sent the first part of my project off ages ago to see if it was ok to continue and have heard nothing. I've since finished it!

    Half the problem is they have to prioritise exam related marking which pushes some stuff down the que - which I can understand. So they at least mark mock papers quickly unlike your treatment at BPP. But on the other hand it is annoying when you are organised to finish things and have to wait ages.

    Give them some stick, it sounds like you will be in trouble if they don't hurry up.

    Hi Joanne,

    Have you heard back from BPP yet? I have the audit unit left to do, but two tax simulations still being marked. I must admit, I didn't do the mocks, but did the actuals straight away as I had a feeling they would be slow. It's nearly impossible to get them on the phone.

    No I have not heard from them at all. No Letter, no return e-mail no telephone call nothing. I have sent an e-mail to everybody i can to try and get an answer and nothing! I made an appointment with my local college to see if they could help me and they have agreed to buy in my last two papers and for me to sit them there!!! Thank god for them that's all i can say, I suggest you might want to think about doing the same as we only have 2 mths ish to finish! They were extremely helpful (at a price) a far cry from BPP!
