Starting to feel very lonely

Can't home study be a very lonely thing to do. If it wasn't for this AAT forum, I think I would have quit by now!

    I can agree with you there, I have just completed my Foundation through a college but I was unable to get the time off work to attend the session so I completed the course via distance learning. But if i was stuck and couldn't get in contact with my tutor I had to wait until he got back to me, then in December I found this forum and it has helped my loads.

    This and the msn forums are fantastic for people who do home study! I'm sure you will find you will get an answer much quicker here.

    Luckily, I was already working in accounting so I had plenty of people around me to bug with questions! There were lots of people studying too.

    I can imagine if you work from home or in a non-accounts function, it can be pretty lonely but there are plenty of friends to be made and advice to be taken from here!

    Just keep at it and it will all be worth it! :-)

    I'm really glad I've found this forum, I work in an accounts office and I still don't get help with my study! This will be great when I'm stuck! :)

    i dont work in accounts and i find it quite hard to understand anything as i also dont speak to anyone in my class, i know how you feel

    yeah i work in accounts too but no-one helps much. Trying to juggle full time work with home study course and look after a house all gets a bit too much sometimes!

    Hi there, just to join up with you on this one, it can get very lonely studying from home (especially that all my flatmates sit in front of TV laughing every evening and i'm stuck if front of the computer...)so i'm glad this forum is here. I have just discovered it - it's a great thing.
