I've seen other post saying they are finding Intermediate hard going and I am another one who is finding it hard.
I've just received my short test 2 and 3, pass and a merit but i still feel disappointed and that I am not trying hard enough even though I spend loads of time studying, i feel soooo frustrated, and depressed

Re:STRUGGLING
Hi,i know its easier said than done but try not to get upset & depressed, just ensure you give yourself sufficient time to revise but also give yourself time for relaxation.
also keep doing practice exam questions & you will be fine!!
Good luck with it all0 -
Re:STRUGGLING
I am most able to learn when I am in a relaxed state of mind. Sounds you are having things interder and distract you from focussing on your studies. The more you are able to deal with your worries, the more it will be easier for you to retain what you are learning. Improving your fitness level will also make a difference(no extreme sports, though). Take it easy, worry will make you forget what you've already learned.
All the best

Am I the only person reading this as purple19m has passed short test 2 with a pass and short test 3 with a merit? Why on earth is purple19m disappointed and feel they are not trying hard enough? Most posters who are struggling would gladly swap places with a pass and a merit pass poster
If I'm reading this post correctly, then I think purple19m needs to stop trying to be a perfectionist and accept that a pass is a pass!0 -
Re:STRUGGLING
Yeah I do have problems staying focussed,my dad is terminally ill and most of my time is spent worrying about him, especially as he might not make it til christmas.
I feel like when im studying im not fully concentrating and when i have a break i feel guilty for not studying and wasting time doing nothing, i wish i could just relax and not feel bad about it.
I went to meet an agency tonight and I have a job interveiw on wednesday for a trainee purchase ledger so fingers crossed.
Thanks for your replies so far
p.s my marked worked always looks bad cos they use red pen to mark it, when you see red marks down all your work it looks bad!!0 -
