June 2006 exam - IAS's does anyone know?

I am retaking unit 11 DFS in june and wondered if there is anything else I need to know regarding the new IAS's. Do I need to learn these for the exam?

Have the standards changed for the June 2006 exam?

If anyone knows I would appreciate it.

    You have to know all hte IAS as teh FRS was replaced by them

    I don't even think superman could learn all the IAS's! Sorry I guess you mean the ones that are relevant to the syllabus.

    The June 2006 exam for DFS will be the first one based on International Standards rather than UK. However, the format and most of the content should not change too much. To see what is examinable and to what extent, have a look at the AAT's own guidance - go into the resource centre and look for exam support.

    Be careful because it not just the standards that are different, its also the terminology for example the stocks are called inventories,then instead of debtors and creditors its trade payables and trade receivables, there are others so check out the example exam including the profromas in case the layout of the answers is different to what you have already studied for.
