I have only got my project to do now and have been looking at it for over a year now but I'm just so stuck. I get the same blank piece of paper out every time and just don't know where to start.
I have a subject to talk about and the planning has been done but I'm just totally bamboozled by how to get going.
Can someone tell me how they got started, what part they did first. I'm sure it can't be as hard as I'm making it but I'm starting to tear my hair out now.
Thanks,
Sarah

Re:Project
I got a list of all the performance criteria and range statements and made a note next to them about how my project would cover them. Then I started writing my project using the guidelines from this site crossing off and referencing each point as I covered it. I found it much easier this way.

Re:Project
Hi
As the company that I work for is so large I knew I couldn't analyse the whole company or accounting function. Therefore I selected one team within the finance section, eg accounts payable, supplier maintenance, etc.
I wrote a detailed description of what the team does. Then completed a SWOT analysis listing:
internal strengths
internal weaknesses
opportunities (from external sources)
threats (from external sources)
I then based the project on what change/s I could make that would improve many of the weaknesses, and how I would make these changes and measure their success.
I hope that helps, I found that just by describing what this team did and doing the SWOT I couldn't stop writing and had nearly half the words needed already!

Re:Project
Thanks very much for both your replies.
I've got the PC's and range printed off now and I'm going to start describing the accounts department.
Hopefully I can get going now!0 -

Where did you get the PC's to print off? Can't seem to find them on the web?0 -
Re:Project
Look under publications under students and print out the pages of the student record card for unit 10. This shows the pc's the range and k & U you have to cover.
