Hi
I am taking the AAT intermediate course this year and I just wondered whether any of you had used the above CD as a revision aid at Intermediate level and if so, was it worth the investment?
Many thanks

Not real good to be quite honest, i tried to use it but i found out that the osborne books is far much better to understand.0 -
Re:Intermediate - Accountancy Aid CD
I didn't try the intermediate one I went along with Osborne as well but for Technician stage there was a lot of theory to learn so bought it. I listened to it every time I got into the car so some of it must have gone in. To be honest though I went one sadder step further and put all my theory revision notes on mini disc and listened to them constantly - walking the dogs, washing the car/windows etc, etc. This really did work and although I was sick to death of hearing my own voice I was able to spout all sorts of things parrot fashion. The notes were obviously customised to help me remember things and included acronyms and so on. I found the AAT disc didn't go into as much detail as my own and only major points were covered.
I know plenty of people will tell you that there aren't many theoretical questions so don't get too hung up on it but why lose any marks at all or stress on a small question when you need your nerve for the bigger ones.0 -

Thanks for the replies.....I guess I'll give it a miss!
My problem is that I can read things over and over and they just don't seem to sink in at the minute.
I might try making my own to listen to on my mp3 player, see if that helps, thanks for the tip.
