Does anyone know the answer to this question please?

Describe how the fixed asset register could verify financials information in the books of account and safeguard fixed assets.

    Hi Nik.

    The fixed asset register is merely a list of all your fixed assets.

    This list can be reconciled back to your accounts, with any discrepancies being highlighted.

    There's a really good article about this in the AAT magazine this month, about how many companies assets don't match their register!!
