Unit Twenty-One Range statement

Hi,

Im doing the portfolio work for unit twenty one and im stuck on element 21.2 range statement.

On the visual safety checks part it asks about interfaces??? :?

What does that mean? And what would you check visually? Havent got a clue.

    Hiya,

    Well in mine I treated them as like icons/ programmes on your desktop.I made out a statement stating each check you should carry out on your computer including ensuring cables are tucked away and put 'once the computer is loaded, make sure all interfaces and icons and loaded correctly and are working correctly, e.g accounting software.

    It worked for me - it's now signed off!

    Ahhhh right!! Well my boyfriend said it was a bit of a hard question because interfaces can mean many things, and he's computer mad and still didnt kno!!

    Well I think your boyfriend's spot on. I've been working with computers for more years than I care to think about and it confused me. I do wonder if whoever wrote the Unit 21 criteria actually knows anything about computers.
