Hello
Does anyone know when the forms for the graduation ceremony held in September will be coming out? :?:
I passed my last 2 December exmas and have received my certificate, just waiting for to find out date and the hiring of cap and gown

Re:Graduation
what you actually have a proper graduation when you pass AAT0 -
Re:Graduation
Yip, its only once a year so if you fail any exam, you have to wait until the following September, 2 of my friends past in June and went to Ald-yr-ren in Newport for ceremony, not sure where they are held elsewhere. Last year you could invite upto 2 people with to see the ceremony

Re:Graduation
Hi
The AAT have ceremonies a few times each year for students who have passed technician stage, but its not cap and gown nor is it referred to as a graduation ceremony.
Sade, are you sure that the ceremony your friends too was organised by the AAT and not their college?

i waws wondering why anyone would go to one of those0 -
Re:Graduation
I was always under the impression that is was cap and gown and was arranged by your college.
I didn't think you had a ceremony if you were home study.0 -

Hi
The pics from the AAT ceremonies are usually in the Accounting Technician magazine or here on line. You basically get a certificate to say you attended and I think you get the option of buying picture of you being presented with it.
Anyone who has passed Technician should get an invite at the first suitable ceremony after their completion. I completed last August and was invited to one in Bath (slightly to far really) in the autumn.

Re:Graduation
When I passed the AAT (one or two year's ago now!) we had one of those ceremonies at our college. It was arranged by our college not the AAT and we had to hire our cap and gown - I think it cost around £17 to £20 to hire them. The certificate you get isn't (obviously) the AAT one it's the college's own version just to say you'd passed all the course.
It was quite good to get together with all your fellow students (especially those who you used to go to the student bar with on a Tuesday/Thurs night) and your family but I will never forget how hungover I was the day after! (Which isn't like me at all!
)
